Today was a slower paced day… I even got to sleep in till about 8, but then it was face paced walking yet again…

I went to the British Museum today and looked through the entire Egyptian exhibit and the exhibit with the Parthenon rocks. The Museums are starting to look the same to me; all of them have an exhibit on Egypt, Greece, Rome, etc… But this museum did have the Rosetta stone in it… The building itself, was the most exciting part for me… It had a giant cylindrical building from floor to ceiling in the middle of it… The ceiling is a large window with mullions making a unique spiral triangle pattern.
About 10 of us ended up going to a little place for lunch called Kitchen Italia. The interior was black white and yellow: yellow cabinets, the lighting that hit the ceiling was yellow, tables were black, walls were white, small accents of green basil leaf plants were also added, and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing.

After going in circles looking for Covent Garden (a place with little shops and such to buy tickets for the shows) a group of us decided to go to the Portobello Market. We walked down this street that seemed like it went on for forever and stopped in almost every shop... There were antique stores, little carts with scarves, jewelry, trinkets, etc… somehow I managed to be the only one that walked away from the street without buying anything (I was pretty proud about that.)

We actually went home early tonight too because no one seemed to be recuperated yet from yesterday… I just relaxed in our Flat while my roommates went slightly crazy (lack of sleep I think), and they chased each other around with water and kept locking each other in the bathroom in the dark… it was pretty funny, and wore everyone out even more!!!
