Went to the Berghley House today... This journey stared before 8 am so can you say "not enough sleep!!!" We had to catch the tube to the train and the train to a bus, way to much work that early!!! but this part of London is BEAUTIFUL!!! It sprinkled on us most of the day, enough to the point where we ended up soaked by our journey back... but for me it was totally worth it :)

Sadly, no pictures were allowed inside the Berghley House, but let me just tell you... It was AMAZING!!! As I am sure most of you know (or should know) I like the more traditional/classical look... inside and out!!!and this house was everything I could imagine and more... The kitchen was large and very castle like, with the stone floors, high vaulted ceilings, tall windows, and lots of cooks working it (when it was being lived in)... The house had hidden corridors (hallway type things) for the servants to get to each and every room, and there were like 200 of them each with subtle or secret entrances!!! Each room had specific themes, like the Chapel or the Dinner Hall or the Blue room or Green room.... just amazing!!! The detail put into to each tapestry, or mural painting, or wood work was so extravagant!!! We had a tour guide that showed us every room he could (so only 18, but it was a lot to take in)... The exteriors of this place are like pics of my dream home!!! Chimneys, stone work, windows, and everything else you can think of was accentuated by the surrounding gardens...
Now it has been raining all day, so the flowers in the garden show beautiful raindrops, and had amazing art pieces... i wandered around the garden for about an hour and by the time i was done i was soaked, but had amazing scenery shots!!!

We then went into the town of Stamford and just sorta hung out... for about 30 minutes i watched both of my
