London Day 1... May 26th

So... Day 1... I was exciting, exhausting, overwhelming, extremely long, busy, but not once boring!!!! Not even the lady explaining the rules to the flat was boring...
Danny and I on the
plane to London

London Architecture is AMAZING

So it feels like my day started like 31 hours ago, plus 7 hour time difference... but after a 5 hour flight to New York with kids kicking my back the entire flight, then a 2 hour lay over and a 8 hour flight to the London Heathrow airport I finally made it to London!!! We did have a short 5 hour wait at the airport while everyone was arriving, then we finally traveled to our flat!!!

Big Ben!!!!

We were to take the Tube (train) all the way to our stop when the one we were on decided to not go 2 stops further to our stop, so when we got off to switch, we were hit by a random flash rain storm that soaked us all...
We got to our flat and got squared away in our rooms... then went to get groceries... and again was hit by another flash rain storm!!! I don't think I realized how much it could rain!!!

We then took what I'd like to call a racing tour of London... We quickly walked by Westminster Abby, Buckingham Palace (well the gates), a living wall, the place where they are doing construction for the 2012 Olympics  and a bunch of other places(if i knew the actual names of where I was at it would be helpful, but like I said, this was super speedy)... Hopefully we will see more of that same stuff too so I can get better/more pics, and maybe get to know the names of them too:)
