Today I spent mostly just laying on the beach doing nothing but basking in the sun and playing!!!
We left for the beach around noon and stayed until about 8!!! It was fantastic, but if you ask me, we should have stayed till forever J We took the metro to get there and ended up having to walk about 30 minutes to get to the actual beach, but it was way worth it. The buildings surrounding where we planted ourselves were incredible hotels, sculptures, or office buildings which are all contemporary architecture.
Mostly I played in the wall all day in the Mediterranean Sea. A group of us swam to the booies and back. Then we played chicken, first girls on guys shoulders then we switched. It was hilarious, and since one of the girls had a water proof camera we have it a on camera! We even tried a 3 person chicken, in which I was on bottom, but that didn’t work, but then Griffin tried being on bottom and it worked after about 10 tries. It was so much fun!!! A few of us decided to build a sand castle, I was too busy in the water so I didn’t get to, but from what I saw it looked fantastic! Most everyone got sun burnt, well I didn’t J We stayed at the beach for almost 7 hours!
We took the bus home and got ready for dinner, and boy did I get some sun, but just a tan J We ate at this place that the front desk of the hotel recommended… Note to self: don’t eat the recommended food that your hotel suggests in Europe, the portions are not that big and it is pricy.
